Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of technical estates and hard facilities management services in a healthcare environment.
  • •Ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory and contractual requirements while maintaining operational excellence.
  • •Deputise for the Contract Manager and represent the Estates department when required.
  • •Produce and manage the delivery of the annual planned preventative maintenance schedule for engineering systems and critical infrastructure.
  • •Lead and manage operational risks, asset replacement programmes, maintenance activities, and support financial performance through budgeting and cost control.

Key Requirements

  • •HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or substantial industry experience.
  • •IOSH Managing Safely qualification or higher in Health and Safety.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of building services, healthcare estates, and Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
  • •Proven experience leading teams, managing performance, and driving positive operational outcomes.
  • •Experience managing budgets, service improvement initiatives, and complex stakeholder relationships.
