Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct budget estimates for feasibility studies using parametric cost analysis.
  • •Review designs at concept through IFC stages, prepare quantity take-offs, and develop BOQ cost breakdowns.
  • •Manage procurement, contracting strategies, bid evaluations, cost negotiations, and RFP revisions while ensuring effective selection and contract preparation.
  • •Verify change control processes, quantify change orders, negotiate true value with the GC, and process changes for client approval and budget adjustment.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and chair weekly/bi-weekly commercial meetings; review interim payments and recommend final account closeout compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional experience related to Engineering Cost Management.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant degree.
  • •RICS and/or AACE Certifications/Memberships.
  • •Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • •Strong Microsoft skills, specifically Excel & PowerPoint, plus CostX and Knowledge of AutoCAD.
