Key Responsibilities

  • •Devise and execute mitigation strategies to prevent real-time cyber attacks using Akamai products and platform.
  • •Perform advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customers’ digital properties and/or business networks.
  • •Communicate with customers on challenges and provide updates and results on mitigation and analysis.
  • •Innovate on tooling development and product enhancements to improve security responses.
  • •Advocate for customer centricity during day-to-day operations and incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of relevant industry experience focused on networking, the Akamai Platform, or web application security, with excellent customer-facing experience.
  • •In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP, IP, and UDP.
  • •Knowledge of how the internet works, including DNS and HTTP, and familiarity with a suite of IP protocols.
  • •Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and how they relate to internet service compromises and attacks.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration, and teamwork.
