Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment, including spotting vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn basic oil well operations such as pipe capacities, pressures, volumes, balanced plugs, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Assist with cement pumping and mixed equipment operations including blenders, additive metering, pumps, ADC, and storage/delivery systems.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Ensure HSE compliance, understand hazardous materials and procedures, and verify correct lineups of valves on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education or similar.
  • •0-6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I.
  • •Class A CDL is required.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • •Understands hazardous materials, job, wash up, and discharge procedures.
