Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Coordinate and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle (DoDI 1322.34) and publicize resources.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure online chat, video conference) as required by contract.
  • •Communicate with installation leadership and participate in supervision, sharing trends and issues across assigned installations.
  • •Participate in regular training, quality improvement activities, and other contract activities as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (or combination of education and work experience)
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English
  • •If contract requires, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification
