Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, perform and manage microbiological studies in broth and application, including challenge tests, shelf-life studies and inactivation studies.
  • •Analyze and interpret experimental data and translate into clear conclusions and value propositions for R&D, BD, PM, Sales and customers.
  • •Validate Kerry’s clean-label and conventional antimicrobial products in existing and new applications.
  • •Benchmark Kerry solutions against competing technologies.
  • •Coordinate external challenge studies, including material handling, data processing and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Safety, Food Microbiology or a similar field.
  • •1–5 years of experience in food preservation or shelf-life and antimicrobial technologies.
  • •Experience in bakery, pet food, meat or savory applications is a plus.
  • •Experience with microbiological modeling is a plus.
  • •Strong communication skills; ability to report and present clearly to diverse audiences.
