Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Actuarial, Finance, Reinsurance, and Technology stakeholders to analyze processes, run requirements workshops, and deliver technology solutions.
  • •Perform hands-on data analysis to validate business rules, reconcile actuarial and financial data, and support reporting/modeling and decision-making.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams on modernization for actuarial data platforms, AWS-based data solutions, system integrations, and data quality/accessibility.
  • •Support Agile delivery by writing/managing user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, testing, and production support while improving the delivery lifecycle.
  • •Mentor Business Systems Analysts and elevate documentation standards and consistency across the business analysis team.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years supporting Actuarial, Finance, Insurance, or complex financial systems, translating business needs into technology solutions.
  • •Strong knowledge of annuity products (Fixed Annuities, Fixed Indexed Annuities), reinsurance, and related liability data/PGA-related processes.
  • •Advanced SQL and data analysis experience to validate business rules and interpret actuarial/financial data for cloud-based modernization initiatives, preferably AWS.
  • •Agile experience using JIRA and Confluence with modern business analysis practices, plus familiarity with AI-enabled tools.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
