Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the full compliance mandate for Aspora's Lithuanian EMI: monitoring adherence to EMD2, PSD2, AML/CTF, sanctions, and consumer protection requirements end-to-end
  • •Lead the supervisory relationship with the Bank of Lithuania: examinations, information requests, and all regulatory correspondence
  • •Build and maintain the internal compliance framework: policies, procedures, controls, and testing across governance, consumer protection, and conduct of business
  • •Drive risk-based compliance reviews and thematic checks to stress-test controls including AML/CTF, sanctions, and outsourcing arrangements, and lead remediation where gaps surface
  • •Advise the CEO, Management Board, and business units on compliance implications of new products, partnerships, and market expansion decisions

Key Requirements

  • •Significant compliance experience at an EMI, payment institution, bank, or regulated fintech
  • •Deep knowledge of EMD2, PSD2, AML/CTF, sanctions, and outsourcing guidelines
  • •Direct experience owning regulator relationships and interactions
  • •Ability to balance strategic board-level advice with hands-on control testing
  • •Fluent Lithuanian and English; CAMS or ICA certification is a strong advantage
