Key Responsibilities

  • •Support fan and LPC hardware by answering module-level and part-level questions (cases, frames, IBRs, bypass ducts, kinematics) throughout mature production.
  • •Provide production support for the PW1500G and PW1900G fleet, including development engine build support, fleet support, and hardware redesign.
  • •Identify opportunities to expand tolerances, improve part producibility, work with vendors to support manufacturing processes, and execute required engineering changes (Class II, Must Conform, Production Alteration).
  • •Support Production and Quality Notifications by creating PPT packages, performing non-conformance analysis, determining acceptability with required disciplines, and managing disposition, documentation, and QN closure.
  • •Serve in a design lead capacity within the team and IPT to drive design improvements and address technical issues while supporting production ramp.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering with 5+ years of Mechanical Design engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • •Experience with aerospace hardware, reading blueprints, and manufacturing methods.
  • •Experience supporting production through mature production phases and module/part-level questions for fan and LPC hardware.
  • •U.S. citizenship required for program/contract access (naturalized or dual citizens may apply with approval from Program Office).
  • •Preferred: M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
