Key Responsibilities

  • •Pilot a mid-sized commercial hovercraft carrying up to 10 passengers on a commuter route.
  • •Lead safe operation, navigation, and hovercraft standards across SpaceX’s hovercraft(s).
  • •Own voyage planning and day-to-day hovercraft operations, primarily supporting commuter-route piloting.
  • •Maintain administrative reports and logbooks and ensure hovercraft-wide compliance with programs and standards.
  • •Support mission operations with flexible hours and work outdoors in maritime environments.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of experience in an off-shore pilot or captain role.
  • •Current or in-process captain's license (6-pack or above).
  • •Active or in-process US Coast Guard medical certificate/license.
  • •2+ years of documented commercial/military experience operating hovercraft and/or air boats with an exemplary safety record.
