Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, fun, progressive swimming lessons using the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Help build swimmers’ confidence through engaging instruction for learners of all ages.
  • •Support swimmers in their progression, including those who go on to swim competitively.
  • •Teach in a casual capacity with hours available Monday to Sunday, aligned to your availability.
  • •Follow the employer’s safeguarding requirements and participate in provided training and development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 19.57 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (previously ASA) Level 2.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Hold one of the following for swimming safety/teacher awards (advantageous but not essential): valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers.
  • •Be able to deliver safe, fun, and progressive lessons aligned to the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Be available to teach around your current commitments on a casual basis, with flexibility across Monday to Sunday hours.
