Key Responsibilities

  • •Structure and manage GIS datasets within databases and ensure spatial data is optimized, queryable, and scalable
  • •Analyze GIS datasets from a business and product lens and evaluate completeness, accuracy, and usability of data
  • •Clean raw GIS datasets for production use and standardize formats, projections, and attribute schemas
  • •Understand how government and agency GIS data is structured online, parse portals and structured map repositories
  • •Use scraping frameworks to collect GIS data programmatically and build automation pipelines to keep datasets updated

Key Requirements

  • •3–6 years of GIS experience
  • •Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, or similar tools
