Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead impact measurement for ASDI products and selected Partner Tech initiatives by owning an experimentation charter and defining evaluation targets.
  • •Develop and implement machine learning and econometric models for observational study designs to estimate incremental effects of products, algorithms, and recommendations.
  • •Select appropriate causal designs, using randomized experiments when feasible and quasi-experimental methods when not.
  • •Communicate findings, uncertainty, and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences to shape rollouts and investment choices.
  • •Design extensible KPI frameworks, stay current with research in causal ML/econometrics/optimization, and support best practices for experimentation and observational causal inference.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Causal Inference, or Causal Machine Learning.
  • •At least 2 years of industry experience in data science focused on experimentation and causal inference.
  • •Deep expertise in experimentation and causal inference, including panel data methods and doubly robust approaches.
  • •Independently drive a scientific workstream and translate applied research into scalable, actionable insights.
  • •Code fluently in Python and SQL and work comfortably with large datasets and platforms such as Spark or Databricks.
