Progress through a manager training development program.

Key Responsibilities

•Learn, demonstrate capability, and become certified in all farm department areas, including Breeding/Farrowing and Nursery/Finishing responsibilities.
•Gain understanding of and implement company systems such as pig production processes, animal flow, farm health, genetics, and husbandry.
•Perform and master all hourly jobs under supervision, becoming certified in each after demonstrating competence.
•Develop and prepare required reports and address/share opportunities for improvement.
•Ensure compliance with environmental laws and company IPS, biosecurity, animal welfare, and EMS policies; report issues immediately and serve as acting HOD as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related agricultural field, or currently enrolled with anticipated graduation by the end of the current semester.
•Ability to work an average 48-hour week, with weekend, evening, and holiday work as needed.
•Ability to lead others.
•Willingness and ability to relocate to complete training and assume the first managerial assignment.
•Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft software.
