Key Responsibilities

  • •Own line sizing end to end by building dynamic limits that expand with payment behavior and cash flow.
  • •Own the application and onboarding pipeline, partnering with engineering to reduce time-to-decision using selected data sources.
  • •Build the Atlas Business underwriting engine with entity-based decisioning from records, business credit bureaus, and bank data.
  • •Manage the credit facility with the VP of Finance across warehouse operations, covenant compliance, draw optimization, and lender reporting.
  • •Own collections, loss mitigation, early-warning systems, and loss forecasting/CECL models while monitoring risk dashboards as source of truth.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in credit risk, ideally starting at a major issuer and moving into a high-growth fintech operating role where you built underwriting logic.
  • •Comfort writing SQL and working in Python or R to build models and ship same-day recommendations.
  • •Strong understanding of charge card economics (not revolving credit), including impacts to line sizing and collections timing.
  • •Experience with credit warehouse facilities (advance rates, eligibility, covenants, lender reporting), with negotiating/restructuring as a plus.
  • •Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (statistics, economics, math, engineering, CS) or equivalent depth of experience.
