Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, review, and approve TTCPs aligned with Abu Dhabi DMT regulations and the WZTM manual.
  • •Plan and design safe work zones (lane closures, detours, pedestrian routes, staging) optimized for safety and minimal disruption.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections and monitor contractor compliance, enforcing corrective actions for non-compliance.
  • •Identify and mitigate traffic-related risks, lead incident investigations with root cause analysis, and create corrective/preventive action plans.
  • •Coordinate with authorities and multidisciplinary stakeholders for approvals and compliance; deliver training and maintain TTCP redlines/as-builts and safety reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation/Traffic Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree a plus).
  • •Professional engineering registration/chartered status is often preferred (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent recognized by UAE authorities).
  • •Develop, review, and approve Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCPs) in alignment with Abu Dhabi DMT and WZTM regulations.
  • •Plan and design safe work zones including lane closures, detours, pedestrian routes, and staging for live traffic interfaces.
  • •Conduct site inspections and ensure work zones meet safety standards for visibility, accessibility, and emergency response.
