Job Summary

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Event Contract product line, from mechanism design and liquidity build-out to user growth and experience optimization. Define contract mechanics (Up-Down, Between, Hit), settlement logic, and liquidity metrics, while driving market maker incentive frameworks. Conduct competitive and internal trading data analysis, translate insights into product iterations, and collaborate with Trading Engine, Frontend, Risk/Settlement, Liquidity/Market Making, and Operations teams to scale trading volume and user growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the full lifecycle of the Event Contract business line, from mechanism design and liquidity build-out to user growth and experience optimization.
•Design Event Contract product mechanisms, including product specs (Up-Down, Between, Hit), strike price generation logic, settlement design, and contract specs across underlyings.
•Build the market maker incentive and obligation framework (spread, depth, uptime) and monitor order book quality to keep key liquidity metrics competitive.
•Drive user experience, growth, and business scaling by defining and executing acquisition/retention/activation strategies and coordinating channel/operations resources.
•Conduct competitive research and cross-team collaboration to translate internal trading data and competitor insights into actionable product and growth recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Experience building complex backend systems from 0 to 1 (e.g., trading systems, ad systems, e-commerce, or payment systems) and leading acquisition/retention/activation campaigns with owned business outcomes.
•Exceptional learning ability, logical reasoning, and quantitative skills; able to convert business scenarios into elegant data structures and business logic.
•Deep understanding of financial derivatives principles and experience owning 0-to-1 design or large-scale overhauls of futures/options trading systems (preferred).
•Strong drive and leadership, with excellent data analytical skills.
•Able to identify market opportunities amid constant change and maintain sustained interest in event-contract underlying topics like crypto, macro events, sports, and politics.
