Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site technical direction for control systems installation, including loop checks, system tests during start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer sites.
  • •Supervise positioning and wiring of control panels (e.g., UCP, DCP, GCPP, MCC) including electrical and pneumatic hook-up, and field wiring by client/sub-contractor.
  • •Check control sequencing functionality for auxiliary systems and turbine/driven equipment, including relevant detection, lubrication, ventilation, and process subsystems.
  • •Lead installation, maintenance, and commissioning site activities while following Quality and HSE rules and meeting schedule targets.
  • •Prepare job-planning documents and maintain reporting/documentation, including daily/weekly reports, technical reports for customer records, and marked-up drawings; address non-conformities using Baker Hughes e-tools.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant field experience in oil & gas or the energy sector.
  • •Strong rotating equipment installation/commissioning/maintenance and troubleshooting experience, including HDGT (Frame 5/2, 6B) and BH/NP centrifugal compressors (BCL, 2 BCL, MCL).
  • •Hands-on knowledge of Mark Vie and Mark Vi control panels and related instrumentation/control logic.
  • •Knowledge of PLC control panels and experience with DLN (Dry Low NOx) systems mapping.
  • •Fluent English (speaking and writing) and fit to work onshore/offshore and in remote areas with extensive travel.
