Job Summary

Design and build the mechanical foundation for next-generation AI computing systems, working on AMD server products and high-density infrastructure. Partner with a global team across concept-to-commercialization and pre-/post-silicon activities, leading server design, rack-level integration, and liquid cooling solutions. Use modeling and tolerance analysis tools (Creo/SolidWorks) and contribute to post-silicon test planning and characterization while providing technical direction and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a global team to define, design, and integrate mechanical systems for silicon devices and server products.
•Lead mechanical development across server design, system architecture, rack-level integration, and cooling solutions.
•Perform mechanical modeling in Creo and SolidWorks, including tolerance analysis and system-level design.
•Support post-silicon development through test planning, characterization, data analysis, and customer/reference system support.
•Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and lead design reviews and cross-functional discussions.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Strong background in mechanical design, design for manufacture, and mechanical analysis.
•Proficiency performing mechanical modeling, tolerance analysis, and system-level design using Creo and SolidWorks.
•Experience integrating silicon into system-level products, particularly in high-performance computing/server environments, with thermal management and cooling knowledge.
•Experience in server/infrastructure design and mechanical development at senior/lead level, including post-concept-to-production execution.
