Key Responsibilities

  • •Timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies for electrical power products to customer specifications.
  • •Follow SOPs and perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly, making adjustments to meet quality goals.
  • •Use heavy industrial equipment (including cranes once trained), fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair products.
  • •Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations; contribute process and safety improvement ideas.
  • •Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties using 5S+ principles.

Key Requirements

  • •Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications.
  • •Ability to read and interpret SOPs, wiring diagrams, and bills of material.
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in a manufacturing facility.
  • •Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods and perform repetitive lifting/bending/squatting.
  • •Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime and be willing to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
