Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage retail or further processing production lines/departments to meet production schedules, improve efficiencies, and hit budget objectives.
  • •Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics while meeting scheduled output.
  • •Ensure daily reporting is completed and recorded accurately (departmental reports, attendance/staffing, yields).
  • •Identify and communicate process optimization opportunities and lead/monitor improvements; respond to unfavorable trends.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe, sanitary environment and follow USDA requirements; mentor and train employees and administer performance/disciplinary actions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree with relevant college coursework preferred.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting; 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
  • •Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution); 3 years preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with internal and external customers.
