Job Summary

Build the first production backend services for an AI-native context layer management system. Own core ingestion, storage/indexing, and retrieval orchestration, including multi-tenant SaaS foundations and agent-facing retrieval APIs. Work with a high-autonomy, cross-functional team to balance rapid experimentation with long-term reliability, and operate the services with strong observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards) as you shape technical direction and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, test, and operate backend services for context ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, API access, source configuration, and administration.
•Define and build a scalable multi-tenant SaaS architecture, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, quotas, audit logs, and background jobs.
•Build agent-facing retrieval workflows by creating APIs and service interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, CLIs, and internal applications to retrieve context and confidence signals.
•Partner across product and infrastructure to balance fast experimentation with long-term reliability as the prototype moves toward production.
•Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards to improve reliability and understand system behavior.
