Deputy Project Manager to support delivery of environmental projects in Australia, coordinating with executives, project managers and finance partners to drive on-time, on-budget performance across a portfolio and ensuring strong client value, risk management and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to successful portfolio delivery in accordance with Project Management best practices and effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
•Apply Project Controls, Contracts Administration and Cost Planning into project systems and processes on multiple work packages.
•Partner with the Project Manager and project team to create and monitor budgets, validate invoicing, support project close-out, and reconcile overall project payables and receivables.
•Play a key role in the performance of the project team to meet client outcomes, deliver tangible benefits, and maintain profitability.
•Assist with weekly time tracking and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
•2–6 years’ experience applying coordination or project support skills.
•Working knowledge of project management principles (e.g. PMI framework).
•Project controls and/or junior project reporting experience.
•Knowledge of cost control and/or cost reporting systems, procedures and practices.
