Job Summary

Provide on-the-ground safety, health, and environment support for Oil & Gas and remediation projects. Act as the primary on-site safety representative by conducting routine and unscheduled site visits, identifying hazards, supporting corrective actions, and reinforcing safety expectations with field teams and subcontractors. Participate in incident investigations and documentation, perform Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and support audits/inspections while maintaining accurate safety records.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide continuous field-level safety representation and oversight as the on-site “eyes and ears.”
•Conduct routine and unscheduled site visits to monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures.
•Identify hazards and work with field teams to implement corrective actions.
•Support and participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and documentation.
•Perform PSSR readiness/compliance checks and assist with safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks while maintaining accurate records.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma and 4+ years supporting safety, health, and environment activities in field-based Oil & Gas or remediation projects, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
•Must pass client-specific background and drug & alcohol screening.
•8+ years of field safety experience in Oil & Gas, construction, or environmental remediation settings.
•Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or equivalent.
•Hands-on experience conducting incident investigations and PSSR processes, with strong hazard recognition and mitigation ability.
