Key Responsibilities

  • •Achieve budgeted sales of consumer goods to key customers and maintain growth with existing accounts.
  • •Develop and execute sales plans to promote product lines and maximize sales volume consistent with projections.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of product, marketing, and R&D efforts to satisfy customer demands for new items.
  • •Handle customer service needs by ensuring prompt resolution of complaints or problems, potentially coordinating with corporate headquarters.
  • •Lead through coaching and development, including mentoring junior staff or leading a small team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination).
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • •Knowledge of the food business industry or retail channels.
  • •Experience with customer-focused, fact-based selling, including IRI, Nielsen, and Perishable Group data.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
