Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 heavy vehicles and ready-mix concrete equipment. You’ll complete related reports and paperwork, order parts, and operate and maintain tools provided for in-shop work. The role covers a range of mechanical issues including hydraulics and electrical systems, including cleaning, lubricating, repairing/replacing worn parts, and dismantling/reassembling using hoists and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Effectively diagnose and repair equipment and Class 8 heavy vehicles.
•Perform preventative maintenance on the fleet and complete related reports and paperwork.
•Order parts and operate and maintain required work tools (company specialty tools provided for in-shop use).
•Handle repairs including cleaning, lubricating, and routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
•Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.

Key Requirements

•Maintain the proper certifications required to perform the job.
