Job Summary

Lead a team in Material Costing Intelligence to build and govern product cost engineering and non-BOM benchmarks across apparel, footwear, and equipment. Partner with sourcing, costing, product development, and factory teams to strengthen pre-costing, improve cost transparency, and deliver cost-saving initiatives through in-factory analysis, costing frameworks, and KPI development. Provide strategic and operational leadership, cross-functional project support, and management updates translating technical costing into business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coach a team of Costing Engineers, setting priorities, building technical capability, and ensuring execution against goals.
•Align and set product cost engineering/non-BOM cost benchmarks across apparel, footwear, and equipment to ensure consistent, accurate cost estimates.
•Drive continuous improvement of cost estimation tools and calculators, including manufacturing process validation templates and cost engineering matrices.
•Oversee in-factory analysis of productivity and process cost drivers to validate cost expectations and influence design and savings opportunities.
•Own costing frameworks and data governance (cost engineering matrices, minute rate cards, yields) and lead cross-functional efforts to integrate them into day-to-day workflow while developing vendor KPIs and management updates.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in costing, industrial engineering, production, sourcing, procurement, operations, manufacturing, or a related field, with progression into team leadership or manager-level responsibilities.
•Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, or another quantitative/STEM-related field.
•Strong understanding of product construction in at least one product line (e.g., apparel, footwear, or equipment), including manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
•Strong knowledge of workflow study, SMV concepts, cost breakdowns, and factory costing processes.
•Strong Excel capability; proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools required.
