Job Summary

Strategic Planner at Ogilvy will support the development of strategic plans across blue chip accounts, assist with communications planning, and help translate research insights into actionable brand and campaign strategies. You’ll contribute to briefs, identify tensions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen client POVs and pitch impact in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand the account team’s strategic task and provide operational input to make the strategic plan more focused and efficient.
•Bring strategic capabilities across 3-4 blue chip Ogilvy accounts to strengthen client POVs and planning.
•Support Communications planning by coordinating with fellow departments to complete planning.

Key Requirements

•2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the Mar-Coms industry; campaigns experience is preferable.
•Demonstrated passion for social media and digital marketing, with a deep understanding of platform trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
•Qualitative skills: ability to write discussion guides, conduct basic interviews, summarize findings, and edit video clips; translate research into actionable insights.
•Be interested in what motivates people and changing consumer trends; confident about constructing brands and understanding branding beyond communications.
•Strong presentation and negotiation skills, in Vietnamese and English; able to analyze research and translate into action plans.
