Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead discipline-specific assignments and coordinate technical teams to support project delivery.
  • •Prepare and author technical reports and calculation packages for hydraulic studies, energy production simulations, transient flow analyses, and dam safety assessments.
  • •Perform feasibility studies, preliminary design, and detailed engineering for hydropower developments and pumped storage facilities (e.g., powerhouse, dams, spillways, diversion structures).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 130,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Registered Professional Engineer and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligible for registration.
  • •Minimum of 15 years of experience in hydraulic design for hydropower developments, hydraulic modelling, and dam safety engineering.
  • •Strong working knowledge of the HEC software suite (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, etc.).
  • •Fluency in French (written and spoken) and strong technical report writing/communication skills.
