Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete software engineering and quality assurance tasks across the SDLC, including test case development and execution.
  • •Perform regression testing and implement automated tests to verify product performance goals and measures.
  • •Ensure project requirements are met by documenting testing activities and software release approval matrices.
  • •Recognise likely delays or failures early, communicate them immediately, and complete tasks to an agreed schedule.
  • •Prepare and run test environments, including hardware setup, software installation/execution, integration testing, and operational testing on flights around Melbourne.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent overseas qualification).
  • •Experience with cross-platform testing, including Windows and Linux platforms.
  • •Ability to set up and manage test environments and operating systems.
  • •Experience working in an Agile software development environment and contributing to automation frameworks.
  • •Strong knowledge of fault tracking systems.
