Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team across endpoint internals, prevention engineering, and on-device machine learning.
  • •Own the roadmap and drive delivery by deciding where to invest in new visibility and deepen protection engines while balancing efficacy, performance, and stability.
  • •Define requirements with product managers and land high-quality features on release timelines.
  • •Direct machine learning work, including model development, training data quality, and required telemetry features.
  • •Drive cross-platform protection parity, sustain vendor relationships for OS security APIs, and represent the team externally through talks and publishing.

Key Requirements

  • •People-leadership experience managing senior technical individual contributors on a globally distributed team.
  • •Substantial hands-on security practitioner experience, including analyzing attacker TTPs, building protections, and shipping code that runs on customer machines at scale.
  • •Deep operating system internals knowledge in both kernel and user mode, with strong Windows depth (macOS or Linux also needed).
  • •Hands-on reverse engineering and malware analysis experience, including reading disassembly and judging which threats deserve investment.
  • •Clear communication skills for technical and executive audiences, plus motivation to thrive in a distributed, autonomous environment.
