Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to electrical engineering design consultancy on transmission and distribution projects from concept through delivery.
  • •Collaborate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to capture and rationalise feedback and ensure design integrity.
  • •Apply knowledge of relevant standards (BS/Eurocodes) to project design and documentation.
  • •Engage with stakeholders to support grid modernization and energy transition initiatives, including HV substation design and protection systems considerations.
  • •Assist in communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and contribute to project governance and risk reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical/electronic/power engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng).
  • •Demonstrable electrical engineering design consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects.

  • •Strong communication skills, with ability to engage clients, colleagues, and stakeholders and clearly explain technical issues.
