Key Responsibilities

•Safely perform construction duties to assist highway, utility, grade crews or work at on-site plant locations.
•Prepare ground surfaces and remove debris from the construction path.
•Operate ground compactors and help level out and rake dirt; set string markers and remove items within the area to be paved.
•Set up fencing, barricades, and/or safety cones to protect the work area.
•Walk behind the paver machine to shovel and rake asphalt, level asphalt, and dig out manhole covers and water valve boxes.
