Job Summary

Provide subject-matter cybersecurity expertise to help customers assess and manage security risk across ICT and operational technology (OT) systems. You will conduct technical and governance risk assessments aligned to security control frameworks, draft risk assessments and reports, categorize threats and vulnerabilities, and develop security policies, procedures, and plans. Collaborate across teams in Australia and overseas and support improvements to controls using standards such as the Australian Government ISM, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess technical and governance risk by evaluating ICT/OT systems against defined security control frameworks.
•Produce security risk and threat assessments, including accurate categorization of threats, threat actors, and vulnerabilities.
•Develop security policies, procedures, and plans to support effective security governance.
•Review and measure control effectiveness and propose proportionate security improvements.
•Analyze and research security technologies to support innovative solutions and communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Assess risk at technical or system-process level using compliance against defined security control frameworks.
•Draft high-quality risk assessments and reports with security issues, control improvement recommendations, and risk-addressing actions.
•Demonstrate familiarity with information security standards and frameworks such as the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
•Ideally hold an industry certification such as CRISC, CISM, and/or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (or be on track to achieve).
•Hold a national security clearance, or be willing to obtain.
