Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess technical and governance risk by evaluating ICT/OT systems against defined security control frameworks.
  • •Produce security risk and threat assessments, including accurate categorization of threats, threat actors, and vulnerabilities.
  • •Develop security policies, procedures, and plans to support effective security governance.
  • •Review and measure control effectiveness and propose proportionate security improvements.
  • •Analyze and research security technologies to support innovative solutions and communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Assess risk at technical or system-process level using compliance against defined security control frameworks.
  • •Draft high-quality risk assessments and reports with security issues, control improvement recommendations, and risk-addressing actions.
  • •Demonstrate familiarity with information security standards and frameworks such as the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • •Ideally hold an industry certification such as CRISC, CISM, and/or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (or be on track to achieve).
  • •Hold a national security clearance, or be willing to obtain.
