Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and maintain critical ClickHouse data framework integrations across JVM-based streaming ecosystems.
  • •Deliver end-to-end connector lifecycle improvements, from core database driver to SDKs and connectors for native JVM application use.
  • •Build and optimize production-grade streaming connectors, sinks, and sources for Flink/Beam/Kafka Connect frameworks.
  • •Improve data throughput, reliability, and performance tuning across distributed messaging and network protocols.
  • •Collaborate with open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise users to standardize performance and developer experience.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of software development experience delivering high-quality, data-intensive solutions.
  • •Experience with internals of streaming or data integration frameworks, with strong preference for Apache Kafka (or similar pub/sub).
  • •Experience developing or extending connectors, sinks, or sources for streaming frameworks such as Apache Flink, Beam, or Kafka Connect (production-grade preferred).
  • •Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems, including topic design, consumer groups, and performance tuning.
  • •Strong database fundamentals: SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and familiarity with OLAP/analytical databases.
