Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers focused on embedded controls development.
•Drive planning, prioritization, and execution of software deliverables across multiple projects and product initiatives.
•Provide technical leadership in software architecture, design, coding, debugging, integration, and validation.
•Guide design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making to ensure robust, maintainable solutions.
•Partner with cross-functional engineering and business teams to align execution with product requirements, quality, cost targets, and timelines, including risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
•15+ years of experience in embedded software or controls software development.
•Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Rust.
•Experience with embedded communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Modbus, BACnet, or similar.
•Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, major technical workstreams, or complex software projects.
