Job Summary

Own DevOps delivery for Opayo web applications across development, test, and production using automated continuous delivery. Maintain and support high-transaction payment applications, detect and resolve live environment issues, and deploy releases with development and test teams. Reduce manual BAU through automation, write custom monitoring scripts, and support on-call coverage while partnering with engineers, operations teams, and third parties to ensure stability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and support Opayo Payments applications using monitoring tools to detect failures and investigate/resolving issues, including writing custom monitoring scripts.
•Work with development teams to design new products and architect new solutions.
•Monitor the live environment to detect failures and investigate/resolve issues.
•Work closely with development and test teams to deploy software releases.
•Reduce overhead of BAU and manual tasks by replacing them with automated solutions and participate in continual improvement and departmental projects.

•Extensive experience of AWS.
•Extensive experience of scripting languages.
•Extensive experience of monitoring tools (SumoLogic, New Relic).
•Extensive experience of automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
•Extensive experience of working in a DevOps support model and in a highly available, high-transaction production environment.
