Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations. The role includes performing preventative maintenance, installing and assembling equipment using blueprints/drawings, diagnosing malfunctions, and repairing or replacing motors and pumps. You’ll operate shop and industrial equipment (e.g., grinders and drill press), maintain housekeeping standards, follow safety and OSHA requirements, and be available to travel to other company facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Visually inspect machines and equipment and operator reports to locate causes of malfunctions.
•Conduct plant inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
•Install and assemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and drawings.
•Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs, including batch panel repairs as needed.
•Remove and replace malfunctioning motors and pumps; realign and adjust components while maintaining housekeeping standards and following safety/OSHA requirements.

Key Requirements

•Strong mechanical knowledge of machine diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
•Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
•Basic knowledge of welding and light fabrication.
•Ability to communicate, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
•Must be able to use basic hand tools and work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
