Key Responsibilities

  • •Support origination, structuring, underwriting, and execution of private investment grade transactions across developed markets with deal team members and counterparties.
  • •Build and maintain historical and projected financial models of companies and transactions to support origination and underwriting.
  • •Conduct independent fundamental credit analysis and prepare investment memos with risk/reward assessments and covenant analysis for Investment Committee.
  • •Assign and maintain internal credit ratings for holdings, assess relative value versus public investment grade alternatives, and document rating rationale.
  • •Coordinate end-to-end deal execution, including covenant negotiation and post-close monitoring, interfacing with legal, compliance, and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with an exceptional academic record; CFA charterholder or progress toward designation preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • •3-6 years of relevant work experience in investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A or restructuring) or buy-side corporate/infrastructure private credit
  • •Valuation experience; comfortable independently building and defending company and position valuation and transaction cashflow models
  • •Strong modelling, analytical, valuation, and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel modelling; familiarity with Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, or comparable systems
  • •Demonstrated ability to independently analyse and recommend credits across corporate sectors; covenant review and documentation experience across private placements, syndicated/club loans, or structured credit
