Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with all safety policies and report unsafe conditions to the QC/QA Lab Manager or QC/QA Manager.
  • •Perform sampling, processing, and testing of materials used in hot mix asphalt production in accordance with applicable standards.
  • •Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, QC charts, and testing records.
  • •Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment and document findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school diploma (degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred).

  • •KYTC HMA Plant technician Certification and KYTC Mix Design Technician Certification completed within 1 year of employment.
