Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned construction projects by establishing schedules and project parameters and defining tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, and analyses (CPM and Histogram).
  • •Work with engineering to support programming and material selection activities tied to project needs.
  • •Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost at completion.
  • •Support sub-contractor quotation (RFQ) preparations, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and owners on scope, budgets, performance, and close-out, helping resolve problems and information needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the 12-week internship, with the internship requiring at least completion of sophomore/2nd year before start.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and related coursework or hands-on exposure.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license (minimum 12 months) and be able to provide proof of insurance, with no major/frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
