Job Summary

Lead end-to-end simulation program execution, from raw material procurement through delivery of a simulator to customers. Own the SAFe lifecycle by defining Features/Epics for each Program Increment (PI) planning session, tracking schedule progress, and adapting plans as needed. Coordinate software development via SCCB and software releases with Configuration Management, create and review technical documents, and serve as the focal point for customer technical matters across hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team and set an upbeat, positive execution style throughout the project lifecycle.
•Own the SAFe lifecycle: define Features/Epics for each PI planning session and monitor progress against program schedules.
•Coordinate with Product Owners and engineers, adapting plans throughout the lifecycle as needed.
•Manage software development progress through SCCB reviews and coordinate with Configuration Management engineers for software releases.
•Lead simulator construction from contract award through final sell-off, including customer/supplier presentations and serving as focal point for customer technical matters (hardware and software).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Aeronautics, or similar) is required, with prior hardware and/or software development or acquisition project experience considered.
•5+ years of work experience.
•Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible.
•Act as a business owner for the SAFe lifecycle, defining Features/Epics for PI planning and monitoring progress against schedules.
•Handle defects effectively and create/review technical documents related to aircraft, computers, electronics, and flight simulation technology.
