Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team and set an upbeat, positive execution style throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Own the SAFe lifecycle: define Features/Epics for each PI planning session and monitor progress against program schedules.
  • •Coordinate with Product Owners and engineers, adapting plans throughout the lifecycle as needed.
  • •Manage software development progress through SCCB reviews and coordinate with Configuration Management engineers for software releases.
  • •Lead simulator construction from contract award through final sell-off, including customer/supplier presentations and serving as focal point for customer technical matters (hardware and software).
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Aeronautics, or similar) is required, with prior hardware and/or software development or acquisition project experience considered.
  • •5+ years of work experience.
  • •Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible.
  • •Act as a business owner for the SAFe lifecycle, defining Features/Epics for PI planning and monitoring progress against schedules.
  • •Handle defects effectively and create/review technical documents related to aircraft, computers, electronics, and flight simulation technology.
