Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices, protective equipment use, and machine/process guards are in place.
  • •Investigate and facilitate investigations of accidents and near-misses, identify trends and causes, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • •Develop safety programs and incentives with management and conduct new hire training.
  • •Provide employee training on safe operation of machinery and equipment, including forklift training and certification.
  • •Chair the Safety Committee, coordinate fire inspection tours, monitor hearing conservation, manage safety supplies, and maintain OSHA 300 logs and required reports.

Key Requirements
