Job Summary

Own financial control and statutory reporting for Axi’s India entities as the senior finance representative for the country. Lead end-to-end financial accounting, manage the monthly close and management accounts, and maintain internal controls aligned with group policies. Build and run regulatory finance for a new regulated entity to meet RBI/SEBI obligations. Oversee audits, tax and statutory compliance, and establish scalable AP/AR/treasury processes while partnering with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end financial accounting for all India entities, ensuring accurate and complete financial results.
•Oversee the monthly close, prepare management accounts, and perform variance analyses for Group Finance.
•Maintain a robust control environment aligned with Group policies and internal audit standards.
•Establish and manage the regulatory finance framework for the new regulated entity, ensuring compliance with RBI, SEBI, and related reporting obligations.
•Manage statutory audits, corporate tax filings, GST, transfer pricing, and Companies Act compliance; oversee payroll statutory requirements including TDS, PF, gratuity, and labour law compliance.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
•Strong technical expertise in financial control, statutory reporting, and Ind AS; IFRS exposure advantageous.
•Experience within regulated financial services, fintech, capital markets, or brokerage sectors is strongly preferred.
•Proven ability to establish processes, controls, and systems in a growth or build-out environment.
•Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
