Job Summary

Oversee the end-to-end design, coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems for hospitality and hotel development projects. Lead reviews of MEP drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, Mexican codes, and international hospitality requirements. Coordinate architects, interior designers, contractors, operators, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality guest experiences while meeting schedule, budget, and project closeout objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to meet project requirements and hotel brand standards.
•Manage and monitor installation and integration of all MEP systems through design and construction to ensure quality, schedule, and budget.
•Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, ELV, BMS, and specialty systems during commissioning and project closeout.
•Work closely with architects, interior designers, operators, consultants, contractors, and hotel brands to deliver guest-focused outcomes.
•Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, Mexican codes, and international hospitality industry requirements.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of experience managing MEP engineering, design, and construction for hospitality developments, including hotels and resorts.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Experience with hotel brand standards, and with MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, water and wastewater, fire protection, building automation, and life safety.
•Commissioning and hotel operational readiness experience required.
•Fluent English and Spanish, with ability to lead client meetings/workshops and prepare technical reports.
