Key Responsibilities

•Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection (size, configuration, voltage, and options) by reviewing plans, specifications, and estimates/proposals.
•Evaluate cost savings and cost problems across projects and validate project scope including EQ/VPP dollar breaks, quantities, and configurations.
•Support sales with preliminary and final submittals, hold job cost consensus meetings, release submittals, and make necessary changes.
•Maintain competitive advantage by staying abreast of industry trends and negotiating vendor pricing for materials.
•Prepare correct equipment for order entry, verify pricing, revise coordination worksheets, reconcile job costs, and provide technical support after order close for installation, start-up, warranty service, and controls equipment.

Key Requirements

•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; alternatively, minimum five (5) years in HVAC project management/estimating roles.
•Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.
•Ability to work outside normal work hours as required.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
