Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize and validate HVAC equipment selection (size, configuration, voltage, and options) by reviewing plans, specifications, and estimates/proposals.
  • •Evaluate cost savings and cost problems across projects and validate project scope including EQ/VPP dollar breaks, quantities, and configurations.
  • •Support sales with preliminary and final submittals, hold job cost consensus meetings, release submittals, and make necessary changes.
  • •Maintain competitive advantage by staying abreast of industry trends and negotiating vendor pricing for materials.
  • •Prepare correct equipment for order entry, verify pricing, revise coordination worksheets, reconcile job costs, and provide technical support after order close for installation, start-up, warranty service, and controls equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; alternatively, minimum five (5) years in HVAC project management/estimating roles.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls preferred.
  • •Ability to work outside normal work hours as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
