Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with creative leadership to define staging, camera, pacing, and character acting, creating a visual blueprint from story inception.
•Translate scripts and written or verbal descriptions into visual storyboards, from rough thumbnails to finalized panels, and pitch storyboards to teams.
•Brainstorm story beats, actions, and dialogue tweaks to elevate the story while maintaining consistency with creative direction and production guidelines.
•Engage with traditional, GenAI, and hybrid workflows to bridge 2D and 3D ideas and integrate them for high-quality animation and story.
•Drive look development and visual experimentation by blending generative imagery with traditional renders and footage, and build workflows/templates/scripts as needed.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of storyboarding experience in animation, games, or digital media (feature, episodic, or high-end short-form), with a portfolio demonstrating extensive story experience.
•Advanced working knowledge of digital drawing tools.
•Demonstrated interest in Generative AI imagery and video, with a proactive, hands-on approach to exploring new GenAI tools to enhance storytelling.
•Experience applying story principles to ensure posing, staging, and cutting are inventive and producible using 2D and/or CG animation.
•Strong organizational and time management skills to deliver high-quality work on schedule in a fast-moving, sprint-based environment.
