Job Summary

Support workforce development by helping build a culture of learning for production associates. Collaborate with Tech III, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to advance training across safety, quality, technical skills, problem solving, and 5S. Facilitate and host classroom and OJT training, validate associate sign-offs, improve and introduce courses, and collect data to provide reporting. Check in on new hires through their first 90 days and attend meetings as needed.

•Adhere to safety procedures and practice good housekeeping while maintaining quality standards.
•Collaborate with associates, Tech III, supervisors, and other functions to foster teamwork and learning.
•Facilitate introduction of new training, lead and support training, and validate associates’ training is complete.
•Collect data and provide reporting; host classroom group training and check in on new hires during their first 90 days.

Salary: USD 21.3 - 29.81 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED required.
•Experience options include 3 months of First Solar experience as a Production or Coater Team Lead with supervisor endorsement, or 6 months of First Solar manufacturing experience plus 6 months in leadership, training, or customer service (or 12 months external manufacturing plus 6 months leadership/training/customer service).
•Technical competence in one of the production areas (FE, FIN1, FIN2, or FIN3).
•Demonstrated ability to properly train others.
•Good communication skills (oral and written) with peers and management (1:1 and in group settings), along with dependable time management and safe working habits.
