Key Responsibilities

  • •Program networking ASICs using thousands of registers and tables.
  • •Implement latency analysis and high-scale event tracking.
  • •Develop software agents that mediate between networking ASICs, FPGAs, and PCIe bridges.
  • •Optimize lasers, error correction, and quality of service for global networks.
  • •Evaluate new CPUs and integrate CPU/BIOS vendor stacks into the operating system, including supporting hardware component bring-up.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of C or C++ with strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
  • •Experience in Python is a plus.
  • •Solid understanding of Linux OS internals, kernel architecture, and the device driver model.
  • •Hands-on experience with low-level hardware interfaces and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, GPIO, and IPMI.
  • •Enjoy performance optimization and working at the hardware/software boundary.
