Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-the-floor presence to coach management, supervisors, and employees on observing, understanding, and correcting unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • •Investigate incidents with management and establish corrective and preventative action plans to eliminate hazards and mitigate risk.
  • •Coordinate with the Area EHS Manager to keep Environmental, Health and Safety programs updated and track implementation through management systems.
  • •Deliver health and safety training, administer new-hire onboarding training, and develop systems for delivery and competency testing.
  • •Provide technical guidance on environmental policies and regulations (including storm water, air permitting, and spill prevention) and assist with safe operating procedures, PPE/safety supplies, and machinery/equipment safety sign-offs.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years in EHS and/or manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
  • •Extensive knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and environmental regulations.
  • •Basic knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and Lifting Operations.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively across departments and support plant and corporate goals.
  • •Associate’s Degree in EHS, Science, or Engineering related fields or relevant experience; bilingual is a plus.
